The process

Description

PRIMAGE is developing a cloud-based platform designed to enhance decision-making in the clinical management of malignant solid tumors in children, specifically targeting Neuroblastoma and Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. The platform utilizes advanced imaging biomarkers, in-silico tumor growth simulations, and machine learning to provide predictive tools that aid in diagnosis, prognosis, therapy selection, and treatment monitoring. These tools include visual predictions with confidence scores and are integrated into a hybrid cloud model that combines public and private cloud services to support both the scientific community and potential commercial applications. The project leverages a partnership with the European Society for Paediatric Oncology, Imaging Biobanks, and leading pediatric oncology units to access and utilize comprehensive retrospective clinical data for algorithm training and tool validation. Additionally, PRIMAGE focuses on enhancing data management practices through improved pseudonymization, extraction, structuring, and storage of data, which will also be applicable to prospective data collections, contributing to shared European data infrastructures.
