Communication & Dissemination

Our communication unit is specialized in supporting the dissemination of large research projects. This covers three areas:

Internal communication

We can facilitate good internal communication by organizing meetings (electronic or face-to-face) and through our project-specific collaborative online platform.

External communication

For external communication purposes, we develop a project-related visual identity (logo, video, visual code, etc…), and online presence (website, social networks, etc…), including frequent news updates to engage with various target audiences and a strong representation in social media.

  • Establishment of the core Communication Concept
  • Design and update of the project website
  • Organization of internal and external project Meetings and Events
  • Identification of external Target Groups, Stakeholders, and Media
  • Elaboration of a project Corporate Identity concept
  • Production and Design of communication and Marketing material and project videos
  • Communication and Coordination with related research projects and initiatives

Communication Strategy

We design and define a well-structured, comprehensive and effective communication strategy. Such a strategy will plan all dissemination activities and ensure that the audience is listening and engaged. We also offer effective dissemination activities and exploitation support to maximize the impact of research projects. We have an established, extensive network for dissemination. Through the broad landscape of our network partners, shareholder organizations, joint initiatives, industry partners and media contacts, project research results can be widely and rapidly communicated.

Sustainability & Scale-up

MATICAL offers a holistic approach, bringing in sustainability-by-design concepts at the initial developmental phases of any project, creating synergies with existing initiatives and finding additional financing, all through the project duration. We use co-creation methodologies, involving all the project partners and key stakeholders in the value chain, defining the time-to-market, required resources, investments, alliances, and potential revenue streams (public, private, donations, in-kind).

Quantitative Impact of Innovation Technologies

We carry out studies on the potential impact of results of R&D projects, including preliminary/prospective technology assessments (TA) on Social, Economic, Regulatory, Ethical and Research aspects.

Our Services

We combine participatory and analytical inputs (considering both the available data and statistics; early project’s results, and direct input from involved stakeholders -citizens, researchers, technologists, clinicians, regulatory bodies, public authorities….in each specific case) with transnational and networked data. This allows for the involvement of multiple types of institutions from the private, public and civil society sectors, providing opportunities for participation by a broader set of stakeholders and a cross-border approach from the start. Our assessments include the following structure:
